Volunteer at Zoo Boo!
Looking for a spooktacular way to give back this fall? Alexandria Zoo is calling on high school and college students to help make our annual Zoo Boo event a monstrous success! This is your chance to meet new people, earn service hours and be part of one of the city's most beloved Halloween traditions, all while having a blast.
Is my membership card valid for Zoo Boo?
Zoo Boo is a separate, special ticketed event, and therefore, regular zoo memberships and complimentary passes are not valid for entry.
As one of our most important annual fundraisers, the proceeds from every Zoo Boo ticket go directly toward supporting the zoo's mission. Your participation helps us provide exceptional care for our animals, expand our educational programs, and contribute to vital wildlife conservation efforts. We appreciate your understanding and continued support.
How do I purchase tickets and what's included with admission?
All activities (excluding train ride) are included with General Admission. General Admission tickets are only available for purchase in person the day of Zoo Boo.
Fast Pass Admission includes admission, all day train band for unlimited rides, and express entry into Zoo. Fast Pass tickets are available for purchase online only.
Who can trick-or-treat?
Trick-or-treating is reserved for children ages 12 years and younger and special needs individuals of any age. Trick-or-treaters will be provided with a Trick-or-Treat Card to collect candy.
What amenitites are available during Zoo Boo?
The train ride, Gift Shop, Palm Cafe and additional food vendors will be open.
Fish food and stroller/wagon rental will not be available during Zoo Boo.
