Matches & Scoring
- Matches consist of one game.
- Game Scoring Format is to 15, win by 2 points.
- Point Scoring: Points are scored by the serving side only and occur when the opponent faults (fails to return the ball, hits it out of bounds, etc.). The server continues to serve, alternating service courts until the serving side faults. The first side to score 15 points and leading by 2-point margin wins. If both sides are tied, then play continues until one side wins by 2 points.
Each division/skill level has its own draw and will be assigned to a zone of courts where the matches will be played out. Each zone of courts will be assigned a clipboard where players will keep track of the match results within their division/skill level.
Stay in Your Assigned Zone of Courts
- Do Not Leave Your Zone: You must complete all rounds within your assigned zone of courts with the players in your specific draw.
- Even if Sitting Out: Whether you are actively playing or sitting out a round, you must remain in your assigned zone. All match rotations happen entirely within that specific court zone.
Manage the Clipboard & Scores
- Keep Track: Players in each court zone are responsible for managing their zone's clipboard.
- Record Scores: As soon as a match ends, record the scores on the sheet.
- Wait for the Next Round: Remain in your zone of courts and prepare for the next rotation immediately after recording your score once your opponent is also ready. The clipboard will indicate who your next match will be against.
Submitting Results & Prizes
- Turn in the Clipboard: Once all matches in your draw are finished, the draw winners must bring the clipboard to the tournament desk.
- Prizes: Tournament prizes will be awarded to the overall winners of each division/skill level.
