Time: 9 am - 4 pm

Red, White & Blue in the Zoo honors those who serve us. FREE admission to all service persons and their families with official ID: Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, police, sheriff, fire, and emergency personnel. (Regular Zoo admission for all other Zoo visitors.)

The first 1,000 visitors to the zoo on July 4, 2009 will receive a free gift! Train tickets and concessions are available for purchase.

Daytime Activities:
Time: 8 am - 12 pm
Admission: Zoo admission FREE until 3 pm

5K Run / 1 Mile Fun Walk / Zoolympics Adventure Course
Run, walk, slither, or crawl your way across the Zoo's 5K, 1 Mile, or Zoolympics courses.

Family Activities
Stay cool with fun water activities and enjoy live music performed by local artists throughout the Zoo at animal exhibits.

The Zoo will close from 3 pm - 5 pm to prepare evening activities.
