Roddie Romero

Roddie Romero & the Hub City All-Stars

RODDIE ROMERO & the HUB CITY ALL-STARS are a 3x GRAMMY nominated Louisiana band who have been performing internationally at the most prestigious festivals and venues for over 20 years.

They are celebrated not only for their authenticity when performing or recording traditional Cajun and zydeco music indigenous to South Louisiana, but also for their original songwriting which stays true to "Louisiana Roots" inspirations.

They have recently garnered 2 GRAMMY nominations for their Album, GULFSTREAM. They are “Louisiana-Roots-Rockers” who put on an energetic show which is bound to make 'em get up and dance!

Radio Zydeco

Radio Zydeco

With South Louisiana serving as a jumping off point, Lafayette’s own Radio Zydeco cut, twist, deconstruct and reassemble until they create a fusion of unorthodox sound. They bring an eclectic and relatable message into a music tradition rooted in care-free attitude and good-time vibes.

Original Art by Margie Tate
After “artist-in-residence” Estrella the maned wolf put her paws and claws to canvas, the animal painting was transformed by local artist Margie Tate into an amazing one-of-a-kind piece. Margie Tate of McNary, LA, has painted and exhibited over 40 years. Tate’s paintings are inspired by her love of the endless possibilities of color, light and nature in all its forms. She has won many awards and her work is in collections across the country. Locally her work can be seen at River Oaks Art Center and Alexandria Museum of Art.

Tickets to the Orpheuscapade
Experience a side of Mardi Gras seldom seen by New Orleanians or visitors. Hosted by the Krewe of Orpheus, this black tie event at the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans begins with live music and dancing until the magic moment when the gigantic floats arrive. Once the floats are inside, the music resumes, and dancing and merriment reign.
